Net Revenues from State-Owned Hospitals

Revenues (net of discounts, allowances, uncompensated care, and bad debt expense) generated from the institution's daily patient care, special or other services, as well as revenues from health clinics that are part of a hospital.

MSRDP (Practice Plan) Net Revenue

Revenues (net of discounts, allowances, uncompensated care, and bad debt expense) derived from the fees charged by the professional staffs at health institutions as part of the Practice Plans (includes medical, dental, and allied health). MSRDP = Medical Services and Research and Development Programs.

Notes

UTMB experienced a sharp decline in revenues for FY 2008-09 because of damage from Hurricane Ike, which struck Galveston on September 13, 2008.
